Visiting the land of Skagen DENMARK

Click here to visit Skagen DENMARK
Click here to explore the world!

Dear Travelers,

A large, busy harbor doesn't dampen the charm of Skagen's older neighborhoods, which offer distinctive yellow houses, great museums, ceramic and glass art galleries, and bike rental outlets. Harbourside restaurants serve fish fresh off the boats. If you're used to Caribbean beaches, this will take some getting used to, but we bet Skagen's craggy charms will win you over.

Senior Citizen's flock their way to the Skagen Museum which exhibits an extensive collection of works by members of the colony of Skagen Painters who lived and worked in the area in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

And of course I went to the famous Skagen Denmark Store which sells watches and jewelries. The company was founded in 1989 by Henrik and Charlotte Jorst who had moved from Denmark to New York in 1986 when Henrik Jorst was appointed US sales manager for Danish brewery Carlsberg. In 1989 the couple decided to establish their own business, as US representatives for a Danish manufacturer or corporate branded business gift watches and for exclusive Jacob Jensen designer watches.

Celebrating Norwegian Constitution Day

Dear Travelers,

As my journey continues traveling around the world I came back to this beautiful city of Norway, OSLO. Im so excited to visit this place and at the right moment celebrating their Norwegian Constitution Day.  Childrens parade in Oslo is the longest parade in Norway, bright and colorful dress enticing the spectators eyes waving their audience with pride and happiness.

The Royal Palace is packed with lots of people and tourists bringing Oslo as one of the top tourist destination in Europe.
It was built in the first half of the 19th century as the Norwegian residence of Norwegian and Swedish king Charles III (Carl Johan, Charles XIV of Sweden) and is used as the official residence of the present Norweigian Monarch.

I met a lot of people along my way to explore and film this wonderful city, one of the students recognizes me with my tripod and camera, she told me she saw me on youtube dancing with the people in Bordeaux France and ask if I could dance with her together with the group. It was amazing!

As I continue to walk with the parade I met a lot of my fellow countrymen and discovered that more Filipinos are working and living here in Norway.

My visit to Oslo will not be completed without visiting the Gustav Vigeland created every sculpture in the park, human experiences and emotions captured in time. The parks highest point is occupied by a single block of stone, 14 meters tall and carved into 121 intertwining bodies.

I interviewed one of the pretty Norwegian girl named Frida about her traditional dress that she is wearing and found out that it was a 40 years old costume and 6 kilos in weight. Whew...

It was a memorable stay in Oslo as I kept my souvenir of my collection of videos compiling and sharing it around the world. God is great so I make an effort to extend his blessings to the people who are less fortunate to travel.

Help me share my videos to your friends and family so we can inspire them and help them to follow their dream of traveling.

At your service,

Ferrol Spain

Dear Travelers,
One of the largest in Spain, Ferrols natural harbor has been a stronghold of the nations navy since the days of the Bourbons. The area was occupied well before it was even a fishing village, as evidenced by numerous prehistoric burial chambers, petroglyphs and megaliths. Ferrol is famous throughout Spain as the birthplace of Generalissimo Francisco Franco and as the site of a huge Easter celebration each year. Visitors are also drawn to its many inviting beaches.

Porto Novo, Ilha de Santo Anto, CAPE VERDE

17-18 February 2013

Dear Travelers,

Known as the Mountainous Island of the Cape Verde archipelago, Santo Anto is also the second-largest of the group. Porto Novo, nestled beneath the islands tallest peak, Top de Coroa, is linked to nearby So Vicente by ferry. A short walk from the harbor brings you to a small, seemingly pink beach - closer inspection reveals a carpet of crushed sea shells. Further inland, an obliging subtropical climate nourishes terraced fields of pineapples, papaya, almonds, citrus, coffee, dates and fragrant lavender.

Praia, Ilha de Santiago CAPE VERDE

Feb 15-16 2013

Dear Travelers,

HMS Beagle dropped anchor here in 1832, providing young naturalist Charles Darwin the opportunity to taste his first banana. Apparently uninhabited prior to the arrival of European navigators in the mid-1400s, the ten islands of the Cape Verde Archipelago were eventually colonized by the Portuguese; independence was finally realized in 1975. Vestiges of the colonial days here in the capital are clustered around Praa Alexandre Albuquerque in Old Town.

St. Johns ANTIGUA & BARBUDA

Feb 6-8 2013

Dear Travelers,

The white towers of St. Johns Cathedral are the first landmark you will see as I sail into the capital of the two-isle Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda. The islands British colonial history is evidenced by historic Nelsons Dockyard, Fort James and cricket matches, set to a soundtrack of lively steel-drum music. Exclusive resorts and private estates provide respite from harsher winter climes for mere mortals and the glitterati alike.

Oranjestad ARUBA

17-18 January 2013

Dear Travelers,

The tall, pastel colonial buildings along Wiheminastraat combine carved wooden doors and traditional Dutch tiles with Aruban-style sloping rooftops. A morning stroll along the wharf shows fishermen and farmers vying for the attention of shoppers intent on the best price for the best product. A plethora of duty-free shops provide similar competition for less mundane merchandise. Miles of sand, the notable Numismatic Museum, lofty Willem III Tower and Fort Zoutman provide further points of interest here on Aruba.

See you there..
